‘No seriously. F**K this, I’m going home,’ she was heard saying. Despite being at the centre of the drama, it was Tayla who was grilled by the experts on the couch for her cold approach to Hugo. Hugo admitted he feels ‘terrified’ of doing wrong by his wife. ‘I am terrified of putting my foot in it or making another mistake because I just want us to feel like we’re on the same page and on the same team,’ he said.

It remains unclear if Tayla will return to the show following the commitment ceremony after she left. ‘I’m sorry, I just don’t know what he’s talking about.

Did Sandy sleep with Dan
Fourth Commitment Ceremony – As the experts got the opportunity to discuss the butt dial allegations face-to-face, Sandy and Dan prepared to lay everything out on the couch. EPISODE 21 RECAP: One bride storms out of the Commitment Ceremony and Alessandra grills Dan on the couch “What I heard from Evelyn – that Dan had showed the other boys photos of his ex- girlfriends and that I’m not his type. Sandy and Dan left during the fourth Commitment Ceremony. (Nine) Dan tried to comfort his wife and apologised for the hurt he’d caused. “First thing I want to do is apologise again to you for being insensitive and disrespectful with the boys. I own it, I said it, it wasn’t the right place to have that conversation,” he said.
The experts then asked what the relationship looked like prior to the scandal. As Sandy delved into the issues the pair were already facing, experts were shocked to hear of Dan’s “distant” behaviour after being intimate with her. “We did end up sleeping together and then after that I didn’t get much from Dan,” she said.
Dan denied “pulling away”, but Sandy continued. “You slept on the couch on Tuesday night. We had another argument and we said we’d reset, and then you said we’d take sex off the table because it makes me too emotional.” Sandy tearfully explained the impact of the butt dial to experts. (Nine) Alessandra was not impressed by Dan’s words, and also questioned why he chose to sleep with Sandy one day after saying he wasn’t sexually attracted to her. “How did you become sexually attracted to her overnight?” Alessandra asked. Dan revealed why the two are not compatible. (Nine) “One of the big things for me is my love of the beach and the ocean. I wake up every morning, I’m at the beach before sunrise and it’s those times when I’m on my own – spiritual type moments – that I really want somebody to share that with.
“My heart and my mind have been at conflict, because that was one of the big things for me.” Melinda screwed her face up at this revelation, and scoffed: “Then go to the ocean with your mates.” The experts reminded Dan that there were more important factors in a relationship than one common interest.
“Dan, the key ingredient to a healthy relationship is not the love of an ocean,” John said. “You may not be on the same page about water, but there are a lot of more important ingredients to a healthy relationship.” John grilled Dan on the couch. (Nine) Despite the advice, Dan’s mind was made up and he revealed that he’d chosen to ‘leave’. “I came here with an expectation that I was going to find someone that can really join me on my love of the ocean and the adventure,” he said.
“The beach and the ocean is calling me, I have to go home.” Sandy also revealed that she’d decided to ‘leave’ and return to her family. “I miss my family, I want to go home and apologise to my parents,” she sniffled. As Dan tried to comfort her she shrugged his hand off her shoulder. “I didn’t come here to be disrespected, I came here to meet my person,” she continued.
“It sucks when you start to form feelings for someone but as much as I care for Dan, I care for me more.” “As much as I care for Dan, I care for me more,” Sandy said, revealing her decision to leave the experiment. (Nine)
