Which dancers are left in Strictly
Jayde Adams – Eliminated in Week 5 – Professional dance partner: Karen Hauer Comedian, actor and presenter Jayde Adams became the fourth celebrity to leave Strictly 2022. Jayde and partner Karen Hauer left the show in the week that celebrated 100 years of the BBC, with couples dancing to famous TV themes.
Jayde and Karen danced the Charleston to The Ballad of Barry and Freda (Let’s Do It) in tribute to comedian Victoria Wood, and although they finished eighth on the leaderboard with 28 points, they faced the dance off against sixth placed Molly and Carlos, who had danced to the Grange Hill theme, otherwise known as Chicken Man.
After the dance off, all four judges opted to save Molly and Carlos and send Jayde and Karen home. “This has been the best thing I have ever done in my life and I will carry it to my grave, and it has been an absolute pleasure working with you and learning about so much that will go into my own stuff, in my own work,” Jayde said when her departure was confirmed.

Who hasn t got a partner in Strictly
Neil Jones ‘snub’ from Strictly Come dancing bosses has left fans raging, after the popular pro dancer hasn’t been given a celebrity partner for the second year in a row. Neil has been part of the Strictly family since 2014 but, despite him being on screen in every series since then, as well as taking part in the BBC show’s live arena tours, he has actually only been part of the main line-up twice, firstly when he did rather well with former England Lionesses star turned TV host, Alex Scott, in 2019 and the, when he made an early exit alongside actress Nina Wadia in 2021.
When he wasn’t given a partner last year, both pros and former Strictly star James Jordan questioned producers’ decision and, after rumours suggested Neil had suffered the same fate again in 2023, fans flooded social media, angry on his behalf on Saturday night, when the Strictly launch show aired and Neil didn’t get a partner to dance with.

Robbed us again of seeing one of the best male pro dancers and choreographers.” Equally annoyed, another person, going for very similar sentiments, wrote: “What does Neil have to do to get a partner?! Flaming Nora!” Among the many other reactions to Neil’s ‘snub’ was another which read: “Very miffed that Neil hasn’t got a partner again” as others said they’d have loved to see him partnered with TV legend Angela Rippon.
Neil isn’t the only Strictly oro left out in the cold this time round, with Nadiya Bychkova said to be ‘seething’ at execs decision not to give her a partner, with an insider then blaming ‘a lack of chemistry’ between her and any of this year’s male celebrities. *Sign up to get the latest TV and showbiz news straight to your inbox with the Chronicle TV and celebs newsletter.
