What happened with John and Rachel Lugo

Answered By: Cyrus Hernandez Date: created: Jul 09 2023

RHOC’s Rachel Lugo exclusive – ‘I’ve risen from the ashes after split’ The Rachel Lugo believes she has now “risen from the ashes” after an incredibly emotional period of her life. In 2019, she separated from John Lugo, her husband of 24 years, when it came to light that he had cheated.

  1. Fans were delighted when the 48-year-old mum of five found happiness again with 52-year-old Nick Smith, who she met via a dating app and who appeared on the reality show alongside her.
  2. But it wasn’t to be.
  3. The couple recently split, with citing the reason as she “works a lot – and Nick doesn’t work” on her Instagram account.

Embracing her new single life and what she calls her “selfish years”, exclusively tells us that she realises she needs to stop chasing relationships and find happiness on her own, but admits there may be a little work to do. Rachel pictured with her ex-boyfriend, Nick (Image: INSTAGRAM) “I now have this feeling of freedom, but I’ll also admit my head is still a little all over the place,” she explains. “I don’t think I took enough time to myself after such a long marriage,

“I no longer have to explain myself to lawyers, partners anyone.”However, while she feels “liberated now”, getting back on the dating scene wasn’t an easy decision.Reflecting on the emotional period of her marriage ending, the reality star admits she worried that no one would want to date her.

“When it ended, I just thought, ‘Oh God, who else is going to want me?’ Who would ever want to say, ‘I’ve met this girl and she’s really nice oh, but she’s got five kids?'” Rachel, pictured with her daughters, says she’s excited about this next chapter of her life (Image: DAVID LONGSTAFFE), who is mum to Francesca, 25, William, 23, Sophia, 20, Oliver, 18 and Sienna, 12, adds, “I always had this thing in my head where someone would just reply, ‘Five kids, are you kidding?’ I kept thinking things would never work out.” During our interview, Rachel also concedes that moving on is difficult and she does struggle at times with her newly solo status now that she and Nick are no longer an item.

  1. My followers on Instagram always ask how I’m doing and it’s hard because then they’ll also ask, ‘Who is your ideal guy?’ On paper, it would be Nick.
  2. I want someone who I can speak to about anything and have a proper belly laugh with.
  3. I’d also like someone who is chivalrous.
  4. The person I’m describing is Nick, there’s no doubt about it.

It’s very difficult. “So for me, it wasn’t so much about the person but everything that comes with having a relationship. I was trying to move on but was then in a position where I still had to doublecheck every decision I was making. “Then you have a partner, you can’t be selfish. The reality TV star says she’s ready to be “selfish” (Image: DAVID LONGSTAFFE) says that although she knew the timing of her first post-marriage relationship wasn’t right, she admits that she had other factors to consider, too, after previously admitting on the show – publicly upsetting Nick and causing a major falling out between the pair – she would say “no” if he ever proposed.

“Now it obviously wasn’t just about timing, there was other stuff. Nick and I weren’t quite aligned as people but no one is perfect. When you don’t have children together it can be very difficult to get on the same page. “He is paternal and I’m maternal. I might get hate for this, but there is a difference between the two.

Our relationship was just a little bit difficult at times, working as much as I do and trying to make sure my children were happy. Talking about her divorce’s effect on her brood, which now includes Sophia’s one-year-old daughter Saskia, she adds, “They’ve had a loss through all of this, too, and had to go through big changes.

I need to show that they’re not going to lose me. That was just causing me a lot of stress when I didn’t need it.” Admitting that she “totally over-mothers” her children, Rachel reveals the upsetting truth behind her need to focus on being a “present” mother. “I’ll be the first to say that I totally over-mother my children.

I know I do that but I choose to. I grew up without a mother from the age of nine and there were a lot of times when I needed her. “Don’t get me wrong, I had a lovely childhood, but my mum left to live in America. My dad was fantastic but he was an alcoholic. Rachel says her kids will always come first (Image: DAVID LONGSTAFFE) Now, single and ready for her next step, the reality star is selling the family home and moving out. “I have no time for relationships just now, I’ve got loads on. Moving out of the home I’ve lived in for 20 years has been a massive upheaval.

“Let me tell you, I keep everything and I mean everything, But, emotionally, it feels like another loss and I’m struggling with that, especially for the kids who are having to go through it. It’s very sad.” When it comes to picking her next location to create memories in, the star is struggling to think of where she’ll search for her forever home.

“I have no idea where I’m going to live. Everyone wants to know things like, ‘Will it have stables?’ because the horses are a big part of my life. Plus, I have my granddaughter, who now who lives with me. There’s a lot to consider. “I’m in two minds – I’ve got to stay in Cheshire, obviously, because of the show. Rachel is now on the hunt for a new home “Sophia has just astounded me with how much she’s stepped up to being a mum. She’s doing amazing and it’s hard for her but she hardly asks for help. I love having them living with me. Saskia is such a chilled and happy baby.” Rachel also opens up about how frightening symptoms made her prioritise her health in this new chapter of her life.

“I started getting an awful lot of pain in my chest at about 5am every morning. I didn’t know what it was so I went to the doctors and they organised CT scans, biopsies, all sorts of things. They thought it was a hiatus hernia. “But turns out it was perimenopause, which was heightened by intolerances and stress from the divorce.

I’ve since started fasting, which the doctor advised me to do, and I don’t eat at least three hours before going to bed. It’s had such a positive impact on my weight loss. I’ve got my jawline back!” The social media star also recognises the pressure for women of all ages to look good and says that, although she wouldn’t opt for any more surgery, she’s glad she did in the past as it gave her body confidence post-divorce.

“I had a tummy tuck after having five babies because I had so much excess skin. I won’t get any more surgery, I’m quite happy. I used to wear two pairs of Spanx and I didn’t wear a bikini in public for 19 years. “I’ve still got stretch marks and that’s fine, but I did feel really good after my tummy tuck.

“Also, can you imagine finding yourself single after so many years and not being confident with your body. It’s hard enough dating without thinking, ‘Oh my God, this guy is going to see me naked.'” Rachel says that living her life under the glare of TV cameras and social media can impact both break-ups and relationships. Rachel says that living her life under the glare of TV cameras and social media can impact both break-ups and relationships (Image: SplashNews.com) “I didn’t even enter the show originally with Nick, so when he joined the viewers saw the infancy of our relationship.

They even saw him ask me out on camera. “They saw my life completely fall apart and then slowly, but surely, rise from the ashes. “Although I’m on a reality show, I am quite private about certain things. When you bring someone into the world of reality TV, you feel like you need to protect them,” she reflects.

“Nick is a lovely guy and I can’t say anything wrong about him. Although at times we did argue, everyone does, and I just didn’t think it was fair to go into the ins and outs of everything. “But the viewers are heavily invested in my relationships, especially last season when I went to a fortune teller who said, ‘Oh, you’re definitely going to marry him.’ On a parting note, Rachel does ponder if she did the right thing in “letting Nick go” to move on with her life. : RHOC’s Rachel Lugo exclusive – ‘I’ve risen from the ashes after split’

Has Dawn paid Leanne back?

A look at footballer Wes Brown’s old life with ex-stripper wife Leanne Published: 15:21 BST, 21 April 2023 | Updated: 16:06 BST, 21 April 2023 Former England and Manchester United footballer Wes Brown has been declared bankrupt at the High Court, a year after his split from wife Leanne.

Confirmation of the sports star’s bankruptcy came last week, in a move that will no doubt stagger fans due to his former £50k-a-week pay package and many professions of wealth from his estranged wife on, As well as showcasing their sprawling £4.5million Cheshire mansion on the hit ITV show, Leanne spoke in the past about their taste for the finer things in life, admitting in 2019: ‘Yes we’ve got a lovely life and all this money’.

Way back when: Former England and Manchester United footballer Wes Brown has been declared bankrupt at the High Court, a year after his split from wife Leanne

  • A heavy focus of Leanne’s early storylines on RHOCH centered around the demise of her friendship with co-star, amid claims she loaned Dawn £500k that was never paid back – although this has been disputed on both sides.
  • Leanne and Wes, who are parents to three daughters Halle, 19, Lilia, 15 and Lola, 11, are said to have split in December 2021, and while they have remained tight-lipped on the break-up, news of Wes’ moneys woes has hurtled the duo into fans’ focus.
  • Leanne, neé Leanne Waffell, previously littered her Instagram account – mrs_leanne_brown – with sexy snaps showing their lavish holidays and swanky wares, yet the account was disabled when she shared her anti-vax stance during the pandemic.
  • She has since started a new Instagram account focused on wellness – and featuring her covid views – on which Wes has never appeared.
  • Prior to their split, she made her stance on covid very clear, including attending marches opposing the vaccine and slamming the ‘brainwashing’ government.
  • What did the Browns’ lavish life entail?

Broken: The couple secretly split last year prior to Wes’ bankruptcy news Nice! Confirmation of the sports star’s bankruptcy came last week, in a move that will no doubt stagger fans due to his former £50k-a-week pay package (pictured in 1997)

  1. Lowly loans
  2. Leanne’s feud with Dawn Ward, who is married to footballer Ashley Ward, saw the Browns’ wealth thrust into the spotlight when she first appeared on RHOCH in 2015.
  3. It was previously claimed that Leanne gave Dawn £500k as a short-term loan, however after six years and a fall-out, she gave up attempting to get the money back from her former friend – and also left the show in 2018.

A friend said: ‘She’s written off the money – effectively kissed goodbye to £500,000. It’s been very hard for her to do but for the sake of her well-being she’s let it go. She knows she’s the better person in all of this and so do all the people around her.’ Speaking about the feud herself, Leanne said: ‘Our friendship has gone down the pan.

I won’t ever speak to Dawn again. I don’t trust her and, when someone has hurt you that deep, there is no going back. ‘It was very upsetting- and still is now. It has made me grow so much as a person, and now, I have had the strength to come away from the relationship and build myself back up again.’ She admitted she’d resorted to treatments to recover: ‘I’ve had therapy and I have tried crystal healing.

I do meditation as much as I can and have hypnotherapy.’ Strutting her stuff: Leanne’s feud with Dawn Ward, who is married to footballer Ashley Ward, saw the Browns’ wealth thrust into the spotlight when she first appeared on RHOCH in 2015

  • Financial reflections
  • Leanne has spoken frequently about the family’s then-comfortable finances, even giving insight into her most indulgent purchase.
  • She admitted she spent £2k on a jumpsuit, yet admitted she would run certain purchases by her husband – when she went ‘over a certain amount’.

Happy days: Leanne has spoken frequently about the family’s then-comfortable finances, even giving insight into her most indulging purchase She said: ‘I wouldn’t go and buy something without telling him if it’s over a certain amount. I’m quite good like that.

I phone Wes to get his permission.’ As well as discussing their money, Leanne also spoke about her past as a stripper, as she defiantly stated in 2016: ‘It’s not a secret. And it’s not something I’m ashamed of.’ In her introduction to the show, Leanne stated: ‘I married a footballer, I live in a fairly big house, I would say it’s worked out well.’ Leanne told the Manchester Evening News of their relationship and dealing with football fans in 2019: ‘Yes we’ve got a lovely life and all this money and I’m not saying the money isn’t great, but when you’re in it you’re living in this bubble.

‘Although the fans can be amazing they can also be very cruel. It must be hard to deal with to be on top one minute and hated the next for a bad kick or missing the goal. ‘We are the ones that are left to pick up the pieces and bear the brunt of whatever is left at the end of their careers.

‘Sometimes it’s hard being alone a lot. The lads are away a lot, especially if involved in a high profile club and England international too.’ A vision: Wes has given teasers in the past of his sprawling mansion Homely stuff The couple have often shown off their stunning home on social media. In 2016, the couple slashed the asking price for their home, a mansion in Prestbury, Cheshire, to £2.4m after it had gone onto the market six years earlier for £4.5m.

The sprawling property is complete with a swimming pool and open-plan living room. Strutting her stuff: Leanne often shared stunning snaps of their swanky getaways It’s a WAG World In 2022, she spoke about being caught up in the world of WAGs on RHOCH, saying: ‘I get that they wanted to show women in business.

‘There are successful businesswomen on the show. Everything was so materialised, for me, it was the Cheshire bubble in a sense. ‘Even the WAG thing and I was caught up in that for so long, the latest bags. and I’ve spoken openly and been honest, the turning point for me was, it was exploiting wealth.

‘The show was exploiting wealth and people want to see that because they get away from their own reality and be sucked into someone else’s life. ‘Then they feel like they have the right to sl*g you off if you don’t agree with something or if you’re just a little bit too showy.

  1. Epic weddings
  2. They tied the knot at a lavish event at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire in 2009, in an extremely lavish wedding – in which Wes’ rings were delivered by an owl.
  3. Sadly despite the idyllic wedding, the couple have now split, in what was announced last year.

A source told The Sun at the time: ‘Wes and Leanne split before Christmas, There were no third parties involved; it is just a sad fact that their marriage has run its course. ‘Leanne has flourished in single life and has removed her wedding ring. She has told people she feels free and is working hard on her businesses and flourishing as an independent woman.

  • The source added the former couple are doing their best to co-parent their children and live separate lives.
  • Motoring along
  • Like many footballers, it seems Wes has a taste of the finer things in life and in 2007, he was spied parking his £100k Bentley Continental on double yellows.
  • The swanky car is one of many the football ace has been spied in.
  • He has also boasted a Range Rover, Audi and Porsche.

Is Rachel Lugo still with Nick

Answered By: Bruce Cook Date: created: Dec 09 2023

The couple split following some – frankly – wild Hanna Miraftab scenes – You can tell a new series of Real Housewives of Cheshire is on the horizon, as show veteran Rachel Lugo has started to drip feed teasers and show tea to her 296k Instagram followers. Not only did the Cheshire queen recently reveal that filming for series 17 starts in three weeks time (which now means it starts in two weeks time – woop woop), but she recently did an Instagram Live with with her twin sister, Katie Kane, during which she spilled some major tea over three juicy hours (and a few glasses of what we’re certain was top notch vino).

  • During the lengthy live with her fans, Rachel answered an array of questions about her private life (you nosy parkers) as well as The Real Housewives of Cheshire, the ITVBe reality show that made her a household name.
  • In addition to revealing that she had no clue which of the Housewives were taking part in series 17 of the reality series, and how she’s keeping her fingers crossed for a Dawn Ward return, Rachel also spoke out about how things are with her ex partner, Nick,

Fans will remember that Rachel’s relationship with Nick was filmed on its final legs during series 16, resulting in the Housewife later confirming via her Instagram story that they had split after two and a half years together, and some – frankly – wild scenes with Hanna Kinsella.

In scenes that had to be seen to be believed, Nick was seen storming off from a Cheshire gala, claiming that Rachel wasn’t giving him enough attention. Hanna followed to make sure Nick was okay. Audio was then played in which Hanna (seemingly) advised Nick to walk away from the relationship. Then, on film, Hanna went back to comfort Rachel and retold the story, well, somewhat differently.

It was iNCREDIBLE. In March 2023, shortly after series 16 wrapped, Rachel released the following statement, “Nick and I met during COVID, during lockdown, and it was always a concern of mine when there’s going to be a big imbalance in a relationship; when someone works – and I work a lot – and Nick doesn’t work, so he can do everything that I have to do outside of work.

There were other issues.” She added, “I don’t know why he said he hadn’t seen me for three months – that was nonsense. And I don’t know why he said he hadn’t seen me all night, because we spent three hours together before I even went, “Nick and I had a great two and a half years. Brilliant, so I’m not going to say anything negative at all.” Fast forward to summer 2023 and it appears that not only are Rachel and Nick now back in touch, but they’ve met face-to-face recently; and naturally, fans are jumping to all sorts of conclusions.

Addressing the Nick rumours online, Rachel revealed that her ex did attend the christening of her granddaughter, Saskia, last month, and that they “still talk.” Rachel revealed, ” was at the party at the house. So, yes, he was, We still talk. I know you all want the answer to this.

Does Dawn still own Warford Hall?

Former Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward and her ex-footballer husband Ashley’s incredible mansion is up for sale with a whopping £7 million price tag – but it’s not the first time the family home has been up for grabs. The reality TV star, who became a staple of ITVBe’s glamorous show during her 7 year stint, lived in the huge five-bed home in Alderley Edge, Cheshire with her husband and their four daughters for several years until she upped sticks and moved to Dubai last year, which Dawn now says is a ‘permanent move’.

The 49-year-old made her debut on Real Housewives for its first series back in 2015 alongside Tanya Bardsley, Leanne Brown, and Lauren Simon, but in December 2020, Dawn shocked RHOC fans after announcing she was quitting the show due to family reasons. READ MORE: ‘I built my own house extension from scratch by following Youtube tutorials and saved £35,000’ In late 2021 the TV star turned interior designer and her husband packed up and moved their life over to the UAE, but despite moving across the world, the couple kept their sprawling manor house, Warford Hall, and have been back and forth over the last couple of years.

But now the property guru has decided to put her prestigious period home back on the market, having decided to make the move to Dubai permanent with her interiors business. The mansion will be familiar to fans of the Real Housewives show, as many of the dramatic scenes were filmed there over the years. It sits on an 7 acre plot (Image: Rightmove / Jackson-Stops) Dawn and Ashley first bought the property, which was built in 1867, when it was a bleak call centre in a sorry state. During their ownership, they have transformed it into one of Cheshire’s most luxurious properties with many lavish features that only money could buy.

  1. Dawn told the M.E.N: “We’ve lived in Cheshire for 20 years and we’ve had amazing memories there.
  2. It’s a great house for parties, it’s a great house for family.
  3. It’s in a great location and really private, people don’t always realise that Great Warford is just three minutes drive to Alderley Edge, five minutes to Wilmslow or Knutsford.

“It’s really private, yet really well located. We initially rented it out because we always thought we’d come back, but we’ve decided this is a permanent move for us now, we love it in Dubai.” But despite its glamorous look and idyllic countryside location in Great Warford, the couple struggled to sell their mansion after putting it up for sale back in 2013, and it remained on the market for five years, The stunning kitchen (Image: Rightmove / Jackson-Stops) In 2017 Dawn had dreams of converting the mansion into a wedding venue, but these plans were soon dashed after government planning chiefs sided with almost 200 objections from neighbours, She went on to secure planning permission for a spa retreat on the site, but never went ahead wih the proposals.

  • Six years later Warford Hall is now back on the market after being listed for sale on Rightmove on December 23, 2022 at a price of £7million.
  • Dawn said: “We are selling it at a competitive price now, because there’s nothing else on the market at that kind of figure for that kind of house in that position.

Before when we have put it on the market, we weren’t that bothered about selling it really, but this time it’s priced to sell. “It’s got it’s own drive, it’s private, and it’s a genuine hall. You can never build another like it and that’s what’s unique about it.” The drawing room (Image: Rightmove / Jackson-Stops) The couple are selling the stunning 11,000 square foot Grade II listed country house for £7 million, with further accomodation and additional land on the 12.5 acre site available to buy outside of this price tag.

  • The house itself sits in 7.5 acres of parkland and immaculate gardens and is considered ‘one of the most prestigious houses in Cheshire’.
  • Dawn says: “I just hope it goes to someone nice, we have had the most amazing memories there, it’s hosted our Creme de la Creme charity ball, big parties, christenings, it’s been a wonderful family.

Even though it’s so big it’s still very homely.” The sitting room (Image: Rightmove / Jackson-Stops) Set over four floors, the ground floor is centered around a huge galleried reception hall with a grand staircase which leads into each of the reception rooms. This floor boasts four large entertaining rooms including the drawing room, a grand dining room, a living room and a sun room, as well as an impressive kitchen with a central island. The master en-suite (Image: Rightmove / Jackson-Stops) On the lower ground floor is the lavish bar and games room, a prime location to host parties, as well as a cinema and laundry room. The master bedroom suite spans the majority of the first floor with two dressing rooms, both with their own en-suite bathrooms, a luggage room and two further bedrooms each with their own private bathrooms and one with a dressing room. Dawn’s fancy bar (Image: Rightmove / Jackson-Stops) Up on the second floor is the fifth and final bedroom which again comes with its own en-suite and walk-in wardrobe. Outside the grounds boast around 7 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, paddocks and a long gated driveway as well as an outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. Dawn and Ashley’s master bedroom (Image: Rightmove / Jackson-Stops) Additional planning permission has been granted to enhance the outdoor pool area into a covered leisure facility and cgis have been created to reflect this. Dawn adds: “It’s got so much potential because of the size of the house, the planning on it is endless. She is the new Real Housewives of Cheshire star who will make a spectacular entrance in the new eighth series. And yoga instructor Perla Navia, 35, is full of plenty of surprises. She is also the perfect advert for the benefits of yoga – as she credits the exercise with taking her from a size 16 down to her trim size 6 figure today.

Perla, originally from Colombia, says: “I started yoga in 2012 but I come from a background of no exercise, I was overweight and a size 16, but finding yoga, everything changes, that’s why I stick to it. “When I found yoga it wasn’t about losing weight, it was about emotional healing and then the body came afterwards.

“I’m now a size 6.” Perla says it was a gradual shape up over the years, but admits that moving to Cheshire with her husband made her more “body conscious”. She says: “I was happy with everything, but I became a little bit more conscious when I came to Cheshire.

I knew when I found yoga it did the trick for me, not because I was losing weight, more the internal healing that was taking place.” Perla lives with husband Jonathan Barton in Wilmslow – the couple met when both were in Barcelona. Jonathan made his millions with his own meat firm JS Barton Ltd, which he has grown into a £60m food service operation company Sandersons Limited.

But, incredibly, Perla is vegan despite her hubby’s butcher roots. Perla Navia (Image: Stephen Farrell) She says: “I am totally vegan. He’s a butcher. How has Nicole Sealey made her money

Answered By: Eric Stewart Date: created: Mar 28 2023

Real Housewives Of Cheshire’s Nicole Sealey built a railway fortune Updated: 12:51 BST, 7 August 2022 TV star: Nicole Sealey from The Real Housewives Of Cheshire

  • , star of TV series The, is happy spending up to £50,000 on a week’s holiday and lives in a six-bedroom mansion with a swimming pool, gym and cinema room.
  • Sealey set up her own business in the male-dominated industry of railway construction when she was a struggling, single mother of three – and went on to make a fortune.
  • The 48-year-old, who once went to the supermarket to buy a week’s worth of food for her family with just £21, tells Donna Ferguson that failure was not an option.
  • She now lives with 39-year-old husband Joe Sealey, son of former Manchester United goalkeeper Les Sealey, in Wilmslow, Cheshire.

This week, she will star in a two-part TV special to raise awareness about the menopause. The Real Housewives And The Menopause will be broadcast on ITVBe and ITV Hub tomorrow and Tuesday at 9pm. What did your parents teach you about money? Not to spend what you don’t have and not to live beyond your means.

My dad moved to Cheshire from Ireland and started his own business in scrap metal. My mum was a cleaner. They were only together until I was one. I lived with my mum until I was seven and money was incredibly tight. Then I lived with my dad. By then, he had a motorway recovery business. We lived in a nice house with horses and stables and he had three cars.

The recession in the 1980s hit him hard and he lost his business and all his money when I was 15. That was a big life lesson that stayed with me. Have you ever struggled to make ends meet? I had a really tough time following my divorce in 2005. I’d built a successful business in railway construction.

I walked away from it all and started a new business in the same industry. Then the recession of 2008 hit. As a result, my incomings didn’t meet my outgoings. I had three kids under the age of five – I’d had my first child at 23. So failure was not an option. I can remember once going to the supermarket with £21 in my pocket and thinking: that’s not a huge amount for a food shop for a week.

But you adapt. You make cuts. I had a lot of self-belief and my circumstances drove me to work harder. Have you ever been paid silly money? Yes. As a result of doing The Real Housewives Of Cheshire, I’ve done a couple of personal appearances where I’ve been paid a lot of money.

For example, recently, I was at an event for only 20 minutes and I was paid £10,000. What was the best year of your financial life? It was 2010. A client rang me after they’d been let down on a small aspect of a huge multi-million pound railway project in London. They asked for my help at short notice.

I agreed, but I remember joking that the profit on such a small job wasn’t even enough to buy me a pair of shoes. Anyway, for whatever reason, the deal for the whole railway project fell through with the other company. So the client came to me and said: can you deliver this entire job at extremely short notice? And somehow I managed it.

  1. That was a big turning point for me, a life-changing moment in terms of the money I made from my business.
  2. It was a multi-million pound contract, we made a really good profit, and I took home a high six-figure salary that year.
  3. The most expensive thing you bought for fun?

Probably my silver Ferrari Portofino. I bought it about a year ago for £230,000. As soon as I saw it, I decided to treat myself. What is your biggest money mistake? Buying a five-bedroom house with ten acres of land for £1.7 million in 2008 – just before the recession.

  • By then, I had met Joe and my business was starting to do well.
  • I pushed myself to the limit and we bought it together.
  • We sold it a couple of years later for about £1million.
  • So we lost £700,000 in a very short space of time.
  • It was just bad timing.
  • What is the best money decision you have made? Taking that railway project job in 2010.

It would have been easier to pass that work on to somebody else who would have been better placed than I was to deliver it. But I didn’t, even though I really had to push myself to take my business to the next level – and go for it. That was the best decision I ever made from a financial perspective.

  1. Big spender: Nicole Sealey bought a £230,000 silver Ferrari Portofino Do you save into a pension or buy shares? Yes.
  2. I started a pension when I was 33.
  3. I see it as my back-up plan.
  4. I invest a little in cryptocurrencies along with my husband, but I’ve been too busy to invest directly in the stock market.

It is something that I think I would find interesting and enjoy, so I might invest in the future. Do you own any property? Yes, my home, which I built, project-managed and site-designed seven years ago. It’s a six-bedroom house in Cheshire with about half an acre of garden.

  1. It’s quite modern and contemporary, with a swimming pool, gym and cinema room.
  2. I paid £900,000 for the plot and the building that was on it.
  3. I can’t remember exactly how much we spent on the build, and I’d rather not say how much it’s worth now, but it’s valued at more than we’ve spent on it.
  4. We’ve made money on this property.

I’ve also got a couple of properties in Essex that I rent out. What little luxury do you treat yourself to? When I’m not filming The Real Housewives Of Cheshire, I try to escape once a month to Spain or the Maldives. Somewhere I can go where I don’t have to speak to anyone and I can just be on the beach with a book.

  1. I have spent anything from £2,000 to £50,000 on a week’s holiday.
  2. If you were Chancellor what would you do? I would increase the threshold at which you pay income tax from £12,570 to £20,000.
  3. Then I’d introduce one rate of income tax for everyone, no matter how much they earned, and set it at 27 per cent.

You shouldn’t be penalised for earning more money. What is your number one financial priority? To make sure my business is profitable. If it is secure, that means everybody else in my life is as well. Some links in this article may be affiliate links. If you click on them we may earn a small commission.

Are Rachel and Dawn still friends

Answered By: Christopher Wright Date: created: Apr 14 2023

Real Housewives of Cheshire star Nicole Sealey was last seen exiting the RHOCheshire’s Christmas special – filmed onboard a Princess Cruises cruise ship in September – early, questioning virtually all of her friendships on the show after a string of showdowns.

  1. Since then, Nicole has kept a relatively low profile, even over the last few weeks when the likes of Lystra Adams, Rachel Lugo, Lauren Simon, Sheena Lynch and Seema Malhotra have been filming endless scenes for series 16 and sharing behind-the-scenes content on their socials.
  2. The Housewives are currently in Portugal on a girls’ trip for the show; a girls’ trip that will seemingly not feature Nicole, as she is currently on holiday in the Maldives with her husband, Joe.

Boo. In a recent interview for popular Instagram series, Celebrity Skin Talk, Nicole lifted the lid on the ever-growing rumours that she has quit the ITVBe reality series, confirming that she has, in fact, “filmed a little bit” for series 16. She added, “Me and the Housewives are on different continents.

  • I was late filming.
  • I have filmed episode one.
  • When I done the show I give my full commitment; for some of the girls, it’s their full time job – not for me.
  • This series has been a little more easier on me.” In other words, Nicole is no longer a full-time Housewife, but will be popping in from time to time in series 16.

RIP. Let’s all just take a minute. Scott McGlynn speaking to Nicole Sealey on the latest Celebrity Skin Talk This, of course, means that ITV producers are going to have to pull out ALL THE STOPS to bring the level of drama Mrs Sealey effortlessly brought in spades to the show for the hotly-anticipated series 16.

It might be time to bring in the big guns. Speaking of which, show host Scott McGlynn asked Nicole, “We’ve seen ex-Housewives come back, like with Tanya and Ester in the Christmas special. You’re best friends with Dawn Ward – will she be popping back? Doing a return?” Nicole responded (to the delight of our bodies and souls), “I think she probably would; a little guest appearance.

the show going down a different direction – her life in Dubai. But if I have a trip she would definitely be welcome.” If you’re an ITV producer reading this on your lunch break, leave our website immediately and get on the phone. Dawn Ward joined the RHOCheshire as an OG for series one and left the show at the end of series 12 to move to Dubai with her family.

She says: “It’s been very tricky. Unfortunately now the softie is parenting five children, so I’m a little bit henpecked.

“Because I didn’t have my mum around from when I was nine (when Rachel’s mother moved to the US), I definitely over-mother my children and I wouldn’t have it any other way. “It’s been very difficult because I don’t feel like I can now be this disciplinarian, (when I try) they look at me and they’re like ‘wait what?’ So they walk all over me, they’re good kids but it is tricky.” Series 13 of The Real Housewives of Cheshire is currently airing on ITVBe, on Mondays at 9pm.

What is Leanne Brown doing now?

A look at footballer Wes Brown’s old life with ex-stripper wife Leanne Published: 15:21 BST, 21 April 2023 | Updated: 16:06 BST, 21 April 2023 Former England and Manchester United footballer Wes Brown has been declared bankrupt at the High Court, a year after his split from wife Leanne.

  1. Confirmation of the sports star’s bankruptcy came last week, in a move that will no doubt stagger fans due to his former £50k-a-week pay package and many professions of wealth from his estranged wife on,
  2. As well as showcasing their sprawling £4.5million Cheshire mansion on the hit ITV show, Leanne spoke in the past about their taste for the finer things in life, admitting in 2019: ‘Yes we’ve got a lovely life and all this money’.

  1. I won’t ever speak to Dawn again.
  2. I don’t trust her and, when someone has hurt you that deep, there is no going back.
  3. ‘It was very upsetting- and still is now.

  • I phone Wes to get his permission.’ As well as discussing their money, Leanne also spoke about her past as a stripper, as she defiantly stated in 2016: ‘It’s not a secret.
  • And it’s not something I’m ashamed of.’ In her introduction to the show, Leanne stated: ‘I married a footballer, I live in a fairly big house, I would say it’s worked out well.’ Leanne told the Manchester Evening News of their relationship and dealing with football fans in 2019: ‘Yes we’ve got a lovely life and all this money and I’m not saying the money isn’t great, but when you’re in it you’re living in this bubble.
