How did Melissa Doyle lose weight?
Melissa Doyle’s weight loss not due to diet
- Popular TV personality Melissa Doyle believes diets do not work.
- The Seven star shed 10kg in late 2013 after she swapped her role as Sunrise co-host in favour of anchoring the afternoon news.
- At the time, she admitted that forgoing the punishing early morning starts had done wonders for her health and helped her lose two dress sizes.
- Stepping out at a Sydney event this month, Doyle looked better than ever but said her fit figure was not the result of any fad diet.
“It’s taken me years to realise diets don’t work,” the 45-year-old told Who magazine. “I’ve finally learnt what works best for me.”
- Instead, Doyle said it was a combination of sticking to three meals a day and hitting the treadmill on a regular basis that contributed to her new physique.
- “It’s much easier to squeeze 30 minutes of exercise into a busy day than knowing an hour is out of the question, so skipping it altogether,” she said.
- And her health is not the only area of Doyle’s life that has improved with her decision to leave breakfast TV after 11 years.
- The mother-of-two, who has son Nicholas, 12, and daughter Talia, 11, said she had enjoyed more quality time with her family.
- “I’m there in the morning for the kids and we have breakfast and I take them to school,” she said.

How did Erica Campbell lose all that weight?
Erica Campbell’s Diet – After gaining weight again, Erica was determined to remodel her body and shed extra pounds through natural ways. And when it’s about weight loss, diet change is what everyone begins with. So she decided to eat less and avoid late-night meals.
- Although she had to cook for her family, Campbell wasn’t eating post 8 pm.
- Erica Campbell’s weight loss meal includes fresh fruits and veggies, including leafy vegetables like spinach, that assist in controlling her weight.
- These foods add volume to dishes and are low in calories and fat ( 2 ).
- Not only that, they are high in fiber and protein that controls her appetite and gives a feeling of fullness.
Erica also added water fasting to her weekly routine. She claimed to follow it 3 days a week. Water fasting is a popular technique to lose weight that we have been following since ancient times. It’s a fasting type that inhibits the intake of any substance except water.
People follow it for various reasons, including detoxification, chronic health benefits, and even spirituality. A study showed that water fasting reduced approximately 0.9kg/day for the first week, and the rate decreased to 0.3kg/day by the third week due to muscle and fat loss ( 3 ). This method may be helpful for short-term weight loss plans.
However, the effects may alter depending on the current health status of an individual, age, sex, etc.

The Sun’s content powered by CHARLENE White’s sister Carina has revealed that their great-aunt who died from Covid became a mother figure to them after their mum tragically passed away aged 47. The ITV newsreader, 42, was left heartbroken when her great-aunt Dell passed away from the virus in 2020 at St Thomas’ Hospital in London.3 Charlene’s sister Carinal has opened up about the tragic passing of their great-aunt Credit: Eroteme
Charlene opened up about tragically losing her great-aunt while in the camp as she slammed MP, 44, for breaking social distancing guidelines through his affair with his aide Gina Coladangelo. The Loose Women star, who shares children Florence, three, and Alfie, five, with TV producer Andy, was just 21 when her mum Dorette died from bowel cancer in 2002 which led to her looking after her younger siblings Carina and Joshua. Reflecting on their great-aunt stepping up as a mother figure to Charlene, Carina said: “Yes the elders in our family were all very much like mother figures and with my great-aunt she was very much a kind of grandmother. “She was there for us when my mum passed so not having her around and having to go to her funeral and stuff was very, very tough.
“But in our family we have all been instilled with values and morals and strength to be able to overcome adversity and to move forward and to turn pain into strength – I think that is what we have all done following our aunt’s death.” Recalling her great-aunt’s death in the camp to the under-fire politician, Charlene said: “We couldn’t go to the hospital to go and visit her.
- I had to sit by myself in the church at her funeral.
- We couldn’t hug each other because we were following guidance.
- I get that you fell in love, I understand all of those things, but sorry for a lot of families like mine doesn’t really cut it.” Asked about Charlene’s reaction to the West Suffolk MP entering the camp, Carina said: “I think everyone was so shocked to see him, even Charlene.
No one could believe it. “And that was literally the British public’s facial expression: ‘We can’t believe it’. I think with her she asked the questions people wanted to hear and she did really well. “She asked those questions and drew a line under it. She handled it really well and can enjoy the rest of her time in camp now.” Carina added: “She went in there to have the experience. The fact that she has slept outside, encountered snakes and scorpions and all these different things and hasn’t crumbled, I am incredibly proud and she should be incredibly proud too.” 3 Charlene White has thrown herself into life in the I’m A Celeb jungle Credit: Eroteme 3 Charlene White’s sister Carina recently appeared on Loose Women Credit: Eroteme : Charlene White’s sister reveals the real reason aunt’s death broke her heart
