Nah. I bet Giovanni got drunk one night, and had a one-night stand with some random woman. She got pregnant, and when Silver was born, she dumped him at Giovanni’s doorstep. My thoughts exactly. He Did appear in the anime though in the opening of the Legend of Thunbder story. it was a cameo but he did appear. And Red’s mom can’t be Silver’s mother (Gideon right out and said Red/Leaf wasn’t Gio’s kid.), It doesn’t have to be the same mother.

Silver is Giovanni’s son, and Rad/Leaf would be someone else’s son. The mother could totally be a different person; don’t think about applying the idea of monogamy to Giovanni, a crime lord. He’s probably had tons of women, Red’s momma would have been one out of hundreds. – To tell you the truth, though, I’m more inclined to believe the Ariana/Giovanni pairing.

And, maybe to help support her being the mother, she looks to be in her young thirties. Are you telling me this: is a woman in her mid-twenties? Come on now, you’re being too polite. She looks to be, if not around the same age, closer to the same age as Giovanni, which could lend to the credence of being the mother of a child Silver’s age. (Silver’s around 10-11. Are you telling me she had Silver when she was 15 or under years old by a creepy old man like Giovanni?)
