Who choked on Masked Singer
The show’s A-list panelists — Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger — immediately sprung into action. “Someone needs to help her,” shouted Nicole. Robin chimed in, “Somebody get up there. Hey, hey, hey!” Ken left the others behind and started running toward the stage himself, proclaiming, “She’s choking! Get a medic right now.” Medics and stagehands climbed up to Firefly’s podium to give her aid and comfort, with one woman instructing, “I’m right here to take off,” Then, the show cut to black.

- Mantis was revealed to be 61-year-old La Bamba and Prodigal Son star Lou Diamond Phillips,
- The actor told EW he went in with “managed expectations” knowing heavy hitters had been eliminated in earlier seasons.
“People like Dionne Warwick or Chaka Khan or Toni Braxton, they did not win, they got eliminated. They’re Grammy winners who were amazing and so I sat there and I went there’s just no way I’m going that far in the competition.”
Is Medusa on Masked Singer 2023?
Who was Medusa on ‘The Masked Singer’ 2023? – Medusa was on “The Masked Singer” since the very start of the season. During the season premiere, Medusa shared her backstory, providing clues about her identity in a voiceover package: I grew up far from the spotlight, a dancer in the dark, and I never quite fit in.
- I mean, look at me! But fitting in was never something I really worried about because I knew early on I was born to stand out, Medusa said in the package that revealed several clues, including a chess board and a set of scales with Buckingham Palace on one side, according to Distractify.
- So, I did my own thing and ignored anyone who wanted me to conform.
Embracing my oddities, snakes and all, has taken me far. From the Super Bowl to this very stage. That’s right! Technically, I’ve been here before. But this time, I’m here to compete, and ‘The Masked Singer’ feels like the perfect stage for me because honestly? Look around.

But fans, meanwhile, formed a consensus that Medusa was British singer-songwriter Bishop Briggs. The entertainment sites GoldDerby and Parade also supported this theory. GoldDerby noted that Season 6 winner Jewel sang Briggs’ hit song “River” during her run on the show — marking a potential connection to the show that was alluded to in Medusa’s clue package.

Who ate the mummies on The Masked Singer?

On The Masked Singer’s TV-Theme Night, the unhappy mummies who were put to death were identified as TV royalty. – Agencies The third week of The Masked Singer concluded with not one, but two covers being blown up on the show on Wednesday. In the last episode, the Fortune Teller lost to the reigning sing-off queen as the Fortune Teller faced Harp. Daymond John, from Shark Tank, was revealed as the person behind the Fortune Teller.
- However, in week 3 of The Masked Singer, the mummies were also unmasked, so the fortune teller wasn’t the only act to leave.
- Who are the Mummies? The unfortunate mummies that faced the chopping block on the TV-Theme Night of The Masked Singer were revealed as TV royalty.
- Under the Mummy costumes were Christopher Knight, Mike Lookinland, and Barry Williams—the boys of The Brady Bunch.
Between 1969 and 1974, the trio starred in The Brady Bunch, the ABC sitcom, and it was the theme song from the Monkees’ TV show that the trio performed on The Masked Singer stage.

Who was in the ghost costume on The Masked Singer?
- While Phoenix was covered with an ornate feather design and Jellyfish’s magnificent costume came with in-built lighting, Ghost – who turned out to be beloved pundit and former professional footballer Chris Kamara – looked akin to if someone had taken a sheet and placed it over their head.
- However, it turns out that was the whole joke with the fun design, which came complete with shiny eyes and red boots, and the ‘Twitter storm’ that followed was completely expected.
During a recent conversation with Metro.co.uk, The Masked Singer UK costume designer Tim Simpson, who’s the managing director of Plunge Creations, explained that the team were prepared for fans on social media to go wild over Ghost’s appearance. He also admitted that the ensemble was more complicated to bring to life than viewers may have realised. Chris was excited for how his grandkids would react when they watched his big reveal (Picture: ITV) ‘We thought that would just look really funny against all the others.’ Acknowledging the huge social reaction it received over its simplicity, he added: ‘We were aware that some people were going to go, “Oh my god, they’ve just given up.” And there was going to be a whole Twitter storm around it. The costume design is taken up a notch every year (Picture: Shutterstock/Rex Features/ITV) ‘One of the ideas for me was that lots of our costumes are so complicated and there’s so much going on, that they’re quite out of the reach of a lot of the audience,’ he said.
- A lot of the audience are kids.
- And actually, to come up with a costume which for kids, they can actually go, “I can make that! I can look like Ghost, I can look like that character off the telly.” There was something fun about that as well, to go with something simple.’ Nonetheless, Ghost ‘wasn’t as simple as we’d hoped’, Tim confessed, because they had to take into account the way that Chris would move on the stage, plus the fact that he needed to be able to sing clearly before he was unmasked.
‘Actually, it took much longer to make than we thought. Because you can’t just get a sheet and stick it over somebody’s head and expect them to sing on TV, it doesn’t work like that,’ he recalled. ‘Because they’re a grown up, a normal sheet is the wrong weight.
So we had to pick specific fabrics that would move in the right way, we had to create a whole sort of subframe underneath the sheet, which would allow the performer to actually sing.’ When Chris was unmasked in the first episode, having delivered a performance of Save the Last Dance for Me by The Drifters, he unveiled a second skeleton-inspired mask underneath his first costume before revealing his face for good.
That gag was Tim’s ‘silly’ idea, the costume designer confessed. ‘I thought, come on, let’s take off a costume, and not only have one simple costume, but then another almost off-the-shelf silly costume,’ he shared. ‘And I thought that was I don’t know.
- It’s my silly sense of humour.
- I hope the audience got the joke.’ The Masked Singer UK returns tonight at 7pm on ITV and ITVX.
