How much does Michael Bublé make at a concert?
Michael Buble crosses the $50 million threshold with the An Evening With Michael Buble tour. This week’s boxscore charts highlight seven European dates, including a $4.5 million run at London’s O2 Michael Buble performs on stage at The O2 Arena on May 30, 2019 in London. Joseph Okpako/WireImage Michael Bublé impacts the Hot Tours tally dated June 15, 2019 at No.3 with seven dates from the European leg of the An Evening With Michael Bublé Tour. Shows in Glasgow (SSE Hydro; May 23-24), Manchester (Manchester Arena; May 26-27), and London (O2 Arena; May 30-June 1) collectively grossed $9.5 million and sold 90,029 tickets, according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore.
Bublé’s three shows at the O2 Arena make London the strongest market of the 34-date tour so far. There, he grossed $4.6 million and sold 44,558 tickets. His double-headers in all three European markets are indicative of Bublé’s global strength. He has historically played repeat shows in markets in South America, South Africa, and Australia, while traditionally playing one night-engagements throughout North America.
Bublé launched the 2019 tour in the U.S. on Feb.13 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. He played 27 domestic shows, grossing $41 million before hopping over the pond. With the newly-reported grosses in Europe, the An Evening With Michael Bublé Tour has grossed $50.5 million and sold 419,110 tickets so far.
- But the bolstered grosses in Scotland and England are just the beginning — Bublé will tour extensively throughout Europe through Dec.10 before hitting Australia and New Zealand in 2020 (with a brief second leg in North America from July 9-Aug.3).
- With nearly 80 dates left to be reported, his 2019-20 trek will challenge Bublé’s previous high-marks on the Crazy Love Tour ($130.5 million; 2010-12) and the To Be Loved Tour ($124.4 million; 2013-15).
This is Bublé’s sixth major concert tour and his success has grown with each jaunt. His average gross per-show started at $81,722 on 2004’s Michael Bublé: Live in Concert, increasing to $171,000 in 2005-06, $511,000 In 2007-08, $925,000 in 2010-12, $1 million in 2013-2015, and now to $1.5 million per night in 2019.
- If he maintains this pace, his current tour will easily become his biggest, possibly pushing the $150 million barrier.
- Dating back to a performance at Toronto’s Winter Garden Theatre on June 18, 2003 ($27,712 gross; 937 tickets sold), Bublé has grossed $385.4 million and sold 4,373,988 tickets across his career.

Gail Zimmerman from Charlotte, North Carolina MAGICAL EVENING IN CHARLOTTE For the first time I saw Micheal Buble in concert after the original date being postponed two times due to the virus and it definitely was worth the wait. Everything was first class from the orchestra to the staging and it looked like crystals hanging down from the ceiling which would lit up during some songs. Tammy Schoeffel from Powhatan Va AMAZING!!! My wonderful husband surprised me with tickets for my birthday!!!! I had been to several concerts but this concert was above and beyond great!!! Thank you Michael😀.So glad you are living your dream and also bringing so much joy to all your followers.bless you always!!!! Bob Cazz from Simpsonville, South Carolina BUBLE' IN GREENVILLE, SC 10-27 Michael did not disappoint as his voice was as good as ever and his rapport with the audience was sincere and heart felt. Old Blue Eyes (Sinatra) would have approved I am sure. The stage and lighting were great and multiple screens made those of us in the upper bowl feel like we were right there on the floor. Ruth from Tampa, Florida MICHAEL BUBLE TAMPA AUGUST 13TH 2022 AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! This was the second time seeing him at this venue. The first time in 2019 I went with a friend and the show was excellent, this time I went with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was by far the best show I have seen in a long time. J from Tampa, Florida MICHAEL BUBLE CONCERT It was great hearing Michael sing, I was at his concert in Tampa February 13, 2019 and loved it. I was quite disappointed with concert at Amalie August 13th because of his conversations with the crowd and his inappropriate words. from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania MICHAEL SINGS HIS HEART OUT! Venue wasn't full but he made you feel like it was ! Wonderful night overall! Mary H from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania MICHAEL BUBLE Fantastic! 2nd time seeing him and better than first! Sexiness of an Elvis, smooth as butter tone like NK Col and pizazz of young Frank Sinatra! IM STILL SINGING AND REPLAYING VIDEOS TODAY! Luis from San Diego, California GREAT CHARISMA AND GREAT PERFORMANCE Certainly Michael is a true performer with a great sense of humor and humility as well. I hope he comes back soon. I loved the choice of songs, lots of variety, and the back up singers and orchestra were great too. Cheryl McQuiston from Seattle, Washington HE GETS BETTER EVERYTIME!! I have been following Michael Buble' since he began his career with his first performance in Seattle at the small Moore Theatre, where all his family was there to cheer him on.including I believe his grandfather who was his mentor. from Toronto, Ontario SO ENJOYABLE loved it! felt so good to hear him in real life LGM from Las Vegas, Nevada MICHAEL BUBLE AT T-MOBILE ARENA LAS VEGAS 2019 His voice is fantastic and so was the orchestra, but the acoustics in the arena are not good for a concert! We have attended many concerts at the MGM Garden Arena and the acoustics are better there. This is the first time we have seen Michael Buble live in concert and we loved his performance!! Tim Oates from Los Angeles, California LOVED THE SINGING, HATED THE ACOUSTICS Regarding Michael Bublé's show last night (July 9, 2019) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles: Michael's singing and song choices were great. Not sure how many songs he sang in the two hours he was on stage but he spent quite a bit of time talking to the audience probably in an effort to limit the strain on his voice that comes with so many back-to-back tour dates.
As a professional singer/entertainer myself, I know how much strain just singing once a week is for me. I can’t imagine singing those songs 5 – 6 nights a week. So it makes sense he would do whatever he can to limit damage to his voice. What I didn’t like was the acoustics at the Staples Center. There was so much echo that it was very difficult to understand his spoken words.
And it really detracted from the music and the overall joy of the show. It might be a great venue for basketball and hockey games, but I definitely cannot recommend going there for musical entertainment. Next time, I’ll wait for a smaller venue. Darla from Sacramento, California MICHAEL BUBLE Saw his show in Sacramento, Ca 7/10/19. My daughter brought tickets fir ger mom & dad. We had a GREAT evebibg. Loved the whole concert to a full house at the Golden 1 center. Definitely would go again. Love to hang with cuz he’s hyst a real nice guy. Just enjoyed so much. Bill Krawczyk from Tulsa, Oklahoma SOUND SYSTEM SUCKED My wife and I attended the concert in the BOK Center on Sunday evening. We very much enjoyed MB and his orchestra. However, in our opinion, the sound system did not do his voice and music justice. We sat in Row J of Section 314 and had a really good view of the stage and walkway. B. McKenzie from Tampa, Florida MICHAEL BUBLE IN TAMPA’S AMALIE ARENA We absolutely love Michael Buble, but Amalie Arena did not do him justice as a singer with orchestra. We did have excellent, expensive seats on the first level above ground level. The acoustics were terrible especially for an orchestra and his lyrics, especially for new songs, were lost in the blare and noise of the arena, which is truly meant for hockey.
He even joked about it not being a very intimate setting and playing in a hockey arena. His current stage sets are huge and gorgeous and would not fit into a concert theater venue. Also the crowd was enormous and only the arena would accommodate it in Tampa. We were disappointed and it was our first time to see Michael Buble live in concert.
We would love to see him in another city with a more intimate theater venue. Mmp from Worcester, Massachusetts SOMETHING SEEMED OFF! This was my third time seeing MB. This just seemed a bit off. The sound seemed off at times. Not a clear, clean sound.and at times pitch seemed off. Such a handsome guy, but he should edit the green suit from his wardrobe! Maybe a ritual burning would be a good idea.nobody needs that garment! What I loved. Jamie W from Dallas, Texas TOO MUCH TALKING, AND OFF-COLOR COMMENTS His voice is amazing, as always. But his jokes about obesity and old people were inappropriate, as was the unnecessary use of cuss words. I must sound like a prude, but I’m not, just his commentary, words, and actions did not fit his music and songs. Not a Fan from Portland, Oregon MICHAEL BUBLE AT THE MODA CENTER Thank goodness there was overpriced alcohol to “Help me make it through the Night” From his very first note I just wanted to go “Home” His voice combined with dreadful acoustics didn’t leave me “Feeling Good” So I just tried to “Close my Eyes” and dream that “It’s a beautiful Day” I’m sure he’s very capable of singing some wonderful, enjoyable songs I just “Haven’t Heard them Yet” I can’t be the only one? Is there “Nobody but Me” that feels the this way. A fan from Toronto, Ontario MICHAEL BUBLE IN TORONTO I love his voice but tonight could not enjoy it due to the poor quality of the sound. his voice was not clear enough. very disappointing. Did not like some of his jokes and the F word that hie used; not appropriate for such a prestigious professional musician. Disappointed Fan from Las Vegas, Nevada MICHAEL BUBLE VEGAS SHOW (MEH) We were so excited to travel and spend the money to finally see him and to be to honest it was just okay. The smoke in the theatre was very distracting and he spent a lot of time talking and not singing.
He seemed out of performance shape which was surprising considering this was his last show here not his first. He didn’t play all the classics but instead opted for new songs and a cheesy Elvis Vegas song when he didn’t even play “Haven’t Met You Yet.” We were disappointed that the show didn’t meet expectations but just good to know moving forward.
Also the venue was not greatvery disorganized with entry process into show and theatre itself was not well designed for optimal viewing. A. Collier from Athens, AL WISH I COULD HAVE SEEN HIM. AND I WAS THERE My wife and I saw Michael Buble’ last night at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Well. almost. Concert was great and musicians AMAZING, but when Michael told folks to get up on their feet and dance if they wanted to, a number of people in front of us took him literally and moved a few feet to their left (against the runway) COMPLETELY blocking our view of the stage, big screen in front, etc.
They stayed there the rest of the night. The usher sitting next to me (and her boss) refused to ask them to sit down and told me “they can stand against the rail” – even though that put them directly front of us and blocked our view. We got to see MB a few times when he came down the runway, but for 90 minutes of the two-hour concert, we just stared at the backsides of the folks who HAD SEATS right in front of us but refused to use them.
We’ll just watch him on TV next time and won’t be back to Bridgestone Arena for ANYTHING! from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania SEPTEMBER 1, 2022 Started more than a 1/2 hour late. Opening dramatic and fun. Entertaining show, but I had a hard time understanding all the words. Don’t know if it was the acoustics. At times, very loud unnecessarily. Michael is a great showman, not always the best singer. Variety of song choices was good. He did involve the audience with most songs. JR from Los Angeles, California CRYPTO SUITE VIEW Went to see Michael at the Crypto after the Pandemic crisis. Love the songs, singers and band. He is such a classy man he does not need too use to much faul or naughty language to be loved. I want to be able to bring my kids to a concert in the future. We did enjoy the majority of it. from Montreal, Quebec SOUND ISSUES IN UPPER SEATS It’s obvious the intent of the tour was to create a setting that was as intimate as possible. and visually, that was achieved (e.g., long walkway projecting out from the main stage that was well used, colours projected). Dana Russell from Kansas City, Missouri DISTASTEFUL I was so excited to go to my first Michael Buble concert in Kansas City. His opening song was an older one. He said I bet you thought I’d come out singing my Christmas hits. He then flipped off the crowd. I was shocked and disappointed. I will not be attending another concert! from San Francisco, California ACOUSTICS Michael Buble has a fantastic voice and orchestra. The Chase center is way too large to contain that beautiful sound he sings. I was depressed after the concert. I love Michael Buble voice. I didn’t get to feel it there. Mike from New York, New York VERY DISAPPOINTED Ditto with Jamie W from Dallas. I thought he had more class than what he showed. Great voice, but not a good performer at all. We left “Boston Garden” on 10/18/21 very disappointed. TK from Phoenix, Arizona AWFUL So disappointing, strings, brass and back up singers were great. He was vulgar and disappointing. Our last MB concert.
