Many fans of the dating show thought it was unfair Love Island has been slapped with hundreds of complaints over Molly Marsh’s return. The contestant was dumped from the ITV dating show earlier in the series, after former contestant Kady McDermott returned and nabbed Marsh’s partner Zachariah Noble, leaving her single.

Dumped Love Island 2023 bombshell Zara has revealed all – One of the most famous Love Island phrases is “I’ve got a text!” The Islanders belt it out approximately 2548 times a series when producers send through a message about an imminent recoupling or a new bombshell entering the villa, but we’ve often wondered what else the Islanders use their phones for.

Do they get to text each other? Are they secretly listening to music on Spotify? Who knows? Well, we do after dumped bombshell Zara Lackenby-Brown spilled the tea on whether the Islanders can text each other. We recently caught up with Zara for the latest episode of Closer’s Love Island Secrets and she revealed whether the Islanders send each other messages away from the cameras.

She explained, “So, the phones we’re not able to text each other. “Sometimes we might write something down using the keyboard but we’re not able to press send. “We’re not able to communicate like that, but occasionally – when we’re not being told off – we can use the phones for that.” ©ITV Pictures Times have certainly changed as we remember when the Islanders were able to secretly message each other on their phones. Remember when Gabby Allen got caught out for secretly slagging off Montana Brown in a text to Marcel Sommerville? Gabby vented her frustrations about her “calculating” co-star in a message which read, “Like, every five minutes it’s, ‘Do you want to go for a chat?’ “And any time you say anything about anything or anyone Mon wants to know the ins and outs so she can go and give her worldly advice.” ©ITV Speaking about the incident, Montana said, “When you’re in the villa emotions are heightened. “You do say stuff off the cuff and things ruffle your feathers that wouldn’t necessarily on the outside.” Montana added, “I love Gabby and Marcel and I think we’ll be friends,” but it was later revealed that she and Gabby hadn’t managed to make amends.

Kady McDermott has confirmed her split from Ouzy See, blaming his ‘actions’ off camera as the reason, after Love Island fans noticed they had unfollowed each other on social media. And her statement came as she also furiously shut down ‘false’ allegations from co-star Mitch Taylor that she had a boyfriend the whole time she was on the show.

After initially being coupled up with Zach Noble, sending Molly Marsh home as a result, returning Islander Kady got together with Casa Amor bombshell Ouzy, after he was brought back into the main Love Island villa by Ella Thomas, only to then be given the brush off as she rekindled things with Tyrique Hyde Kady and Ouzy’s time on Love Island came to an abrupt end when they were dumped by fellow Islanders Whitney and Lochan two weeks before the final, with them going onto appear on various podcasts together since their return to the UK.

They were also in attendance at Sunday’s live Love Island reunion, although some viewers at home clocked that they appeared ‘distant’ from each other. Addressing speculation over their relationship on Tuesday, she wrote: “Sadly late last night, Ouzy’s behaviour and actions from the 30th July were brought to my attention. Ouzy is one of the loveliest people I have met and I know he is remorseful, but unfortunately actions have consequences and although we are not ‘official’ in our relationship status, I am definitely not prepared to start a relationship off on this foot.” She added: “I wish him nothing but happiness and success in his life.” Kady’s reveal that she and Ouzy had gone their separate ways came via the same Instagram statement which saw her deny allegations from MItch that she had a boyfriend back at home while she was on Love Island, with him even claiming she wore a bracelet given to her by him in the villa.

Firing back at the accusations, Kady wrote: “The narrative that is circulating that I had a boyfriend whilst in the Love Island villa is categorically false. My mum stayed at mine while I was in the villa to look after my dog and house.” She added: “Speaking opinions is one thing but making such bold statements with confidence is wrong.

Now, the voting stats from the final have been revealed, and it’s preeeetty revealing. After eight weeks of laughs, tears and coupling up, Love Island is officially over for another series, after producing four new couples for fans to obsessed over: Sammy and Jess, Lochan Nowacki and Whitney Adebayo, Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas, and Zach Noble and Molly Marsh. ITV Now, ITV have released the voting figures from the final:

Jess & Sammy – 34.57%Whitney & Lochan – 26.85%Ella & Tyrique – 24.21%Molly & Zach – 14.37%

Jess and Sammy had over a third of the overall votes, while Whitney and Lochan pipped Ella and Tyrique to second place by just *2%* of additional votes.
