Who got voted off on Strictly tonight
It’s the final Strictly Spoiler of the series as The BBC might be stupid enough to do a results show on a Monday but they are not stupid enough to do not live results for the final. But who has fallen at the final hurdle? Well I can reveal. Will and Fleur had to dance off.
- The judges saved Fleur (Anton saved Will.
- All other Judges saved Fleur).
- Will was eliminated! Your finalists, in no particular order, are: Molly and Carlos Fleur and Vito Helen and Gorka Hamza and Jowita Complaints to the BBC This week’s spoiler has come from my own source and is almost certainly accurate Did the right couple leave? Strictly moved to a Friday night slot because The BBC had no other way of avoiding a clash with the World Cup despite having multiple channels and a streaming service.
But I digress! The spoilers keep pouring whenever the show goes out and I can reveal that. Molly and Kym had to dance off. The judges saved Molly (Craig, Motsi and Shirley saved Molly. Anton saved Kym). Kym was eliminated! Complaints to the BBC This week’s spoiler has come from an audience mole sourced by myself and should be accurate Did the right couple leave? - The remaining 6 couples are all focused on joining Kym and Graziano in musicals week for next week’s quarter final.
- But who is leaving before we hit the serious point of the competition.
- No need to wait when the Strictly Spoiler is on hand to tell you the results.
- So here are the results Ellie T and Fleur had to dance off.
The judges unanimously saved Fleur. Ellie T was eliminated Complaints to the BBC This week’s spoiler has come from an audience mole through my usual sources plus my own mole and should be accurate! Who got knocked out of Strictly Come Dancing
Week eleven – Kym Marsh – After not performing last week, Kym Marsh and her dance partner Graziano di Prima were eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing when they lost the dance off against Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu.
Who has recently left Strictly?
Ellie Simmonds – Eliminated in Week 7 – Professional dance partner: Nikita Kuzmin Paralympic swimming champion Ellie Simmonds has become the latest celebrity contestant to leave Strictly 2022. Ellie and partner Nikita were only five points off the top of the leaderboard after their lively Charleston to Too Darn Hot from the musical Kiss Me, Kate, but when the public vote was added they were placed in the bottom two alongside Molly and Carlos, who had picked up three 9s for their Foxtrot.
- Head judge Shirley Ballas declared their dance off one of the best she’d ever seen, but all four judges voted to save Molly.
- I’ve literally had the time of my life.
- It’s been the most incredible experience – life changing really,” Ellie said after her elimination was confirmed.
- I want to thank Nikita ever so much.
I’m going to miss him – he’s changed my life and confidence. I seem confident but you know what I’m like, I worry about everything so so much and we’ve literally represented everything. “We went out there any danced our life out every single night and I loved it so much.”
Who left Strictly on Sunday
Tony Adams has become the seventh celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing 2022 tonight (Sunday 13th November) after withdrawing from the competition due to injury. The former footballer made the decision to drop out of the show after sustaining an injury on Saturday night, which meant he was unable to perform in the dance-off against Tyler West,
Tony Adams was due to perform his Jive, going up against Tyler and Dianne Buswell’s Paso Doble, however after the ex Arsenal player’s withdrawal, Tyler and Dianne were sent straight through to Blackpool Week. Ahead of the dance-off, Tess Daly told the audience: “Due to an injury sustained on Saturday night, Tony is unable to take part in the dance off and has decided to withdraw from the competition.
“This means there will be no dance off tonight and Tyler and Dianne are through to Blackpool.” Tony and Katya performing the jive on Strictly Come Dancing. BBC Tony went on to describe his time on the show as “emotional”, adding: “I cried for the first month. I came in here with one message, if you’ve got an issue with mental health then please don’t suffer in silence and reach out for help.” “Little did I know that I was going to learn a lot about myself in the process.
I thought this ‘journey’ rubbish was nonsense, but my god, the rollercoaster of emotion.” The former Arsenal player also said that while dancing was “physically really tough”, it has been “really fantastic”, adding: “I suppose I had better mention this one hadn’t I, she is an exceptional human being, she really is.” Katya Jones – Tony’s professional dance partner – responded by saying that she’ll be “forever grateful” for being paired with him.
“I loved us, I loved that we didn’t care what people thought, we did every single dance our way!” she said. “You have come here with a message, you led by example, and put yourself out there, and showed everyone you can do anything. And everyone deserves love and to be loved! I love you.” By entering your details, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions and privacy policy,

It was a high-scoring night for lots of the celebs, with Fleur East topping the leaderboard after receiving a score of 39 for her Samba, followed closely behind by Hamza Yassin ‘s Couple’s Choice and Will Mellor ‘s emotional Waltz for his late father,
Meanwhile, Molly Rainford landed in fourth place with a score of 37 for her Rumba to Whitney Houston’s All The Man That I Need, however some fans took to Twitter to criticise her scoring, Strictly Come Dancing continues next Saturday. Catch up now on BBC iPlayer.
Who was voted off Strictly tonight Week 7
Strictly Come Dancing: week seven results – as it happened Show key events only Please turn on JavaScript to use this feature Well, that was emotional. Thank you all for joining in, has been one of my favourite Strictly weeks in ages. I’m off to do some out-of-time clapping in the Strictly studio next Saturday, so I’m leaving a supply teacher in charge of the liveblog – no idea who, but I’m sure they’ll be FABULOUS. A final dance for Ellie and Nikita Photograph: Guy Levy/BBC/PA I know the pros and celebs say lovely things about each other every week (friends for life, always), but it’s clear that the relationship between Ellie and Nikita has been something incredibly special.
It’s been a genuinely life-changing experience for Ellie, and I don’t think we’ll ever forget what she’s brought to the Strictly dancefloor. Who’s crying? I’m crying. All the judges vote to save Molly and Carlos, including Shirley. Which means ELLIE AND NIKITA are leaving the Strictly ballroom. Curse of the middle table, but also the curse of the Charleston.
That’s four out of six so far. Farewell to Ellie and Nikita Photograph: Guy Levy/BBC/PA Molly and Carlos are up first – the sugary theming of this Foxtrot was far too cutesy for me, but it’s a lovely dance from Molly – she’s one of the strongest dancers in the competition and she absolutely deserves to stay.
That said, this Charleston from Ellie S is also a brilliant showcase of the flawless partnership between her and Nikita – she’s been an outstanding performer from Week 1 and she also deserves to stay. Funny thing is, if Craig had just given Ellie T the six she deserved this probably wouldn’t have happened.
It’s a strange old world. So who’s joining Ellie and Nikita in the bottom two? Helen and Gorka are safe, along with Will and Nancy, Tyler and Dianne and Kym and Graziano. Which means MOLLY AND CARLOS are in the dance off. WELL. That means the public saved Will, Tyler, Ellie T and Tony, AND gave Fleur a week off.
Molly was FOURTH on the leaderboard, out of ten couples. Neither Ellie S OR Molly deserve to go home, in my opinion – they are both fabulous. I suspect it might be Ellie Simmonds who ends up leaving, which is actually quite upsetting. Time for a musical interlude, courtesy of stage/screen actor Luke Evans.
He’s singing the Simon and Garfunkel classic ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’, from his album A Song For You, It’s a beautiful song and Luke is a fabulous singer, very much enjoying this. Can we just have turtlenecked Welsh singers who sound brilliant live, every week? I’d be totally fine with that.
Ai and Nadiya are dancing, and now I’m thinking about how much Kai looks like Luke Evans. We all know that Kai and Nadiya are dating, right? Their Instagram is just one giant heart-eyes emoji. Also I’ve just looked up who’s doing the Sunday turn next weekend when I’m in the studio, and it’s Sheku Kanneh-Mason and Zak Abel.
Love a cello, and very hope Zak is singing this song because it’s GORGEOUS. So who is safely through to next week? Ellie and Johannes are safe, along with Fleur and Vito, Hamza and Jowita and Tony and Katya. First couple in the bottom two: ELLIE S AND NIKITA.
Eek, that’s a big chunk of the bottom of the leader board safe, then – never let it be said your votes don’t count, for better or worse. The only ones on the leaderboard below Ellie S were Tyler and Will, so I’d argue whoever goes tonight probably shouldn’t. Last night on Strictly: an evening of pure joy, unencumbered by wigs and props and random themes.
We don’t ask for much around here, but can we have more of this please? Highlights : great dancing all round, and a brilliant effort from both the naturally gifted and the triers. You can tell how much everyone is loving the journey, and it makes for great telly.
Also I’m obsessed with Imelda Shirley’s tiny shoe collection – absolutely going in next week’s bingo. Lowlights : Inconsistent scoring, poppies so ubiquitous they ceased to have meaning, this week’s judge/presenter wardrobe – barely had we got our head round Claudia’s wizard pyjamas when Motsi came out dressed as a split condom and Shirley danced down the stairs in a pubic jumpsuit.
Tess in a sparkly shirt, Claudia in a black jacket with a weird bra. SO much better than last night, in every possible way. Tonight’s opening pro dance brings a bit of commercial Bollywood to the Strictly dancefloor. It features Michelle and the rest of Strictly pro crew, along with Bollywood dancer Ramzan and a few of his backing dancers.
Who left Strictly tonight Week 10
Who left Strictly Come Dancing after week ten dance off? Ellie Taylor has become the ninth contestant to leave Strictly Come Dancing. Ellie and her partner Johannes had performed a Jive to ‘Brown Eyed Girl’ by Van Morrison and scored an underwhelming 25 points.
Who got knocked out of Strictly 22?
Kym Marsh – Kym Marsh became the latest celebrity to leave the competition(Picture: PA) Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh and her partner Graziano Di Prima became the tenth couple to leave the competition, after a tense dance off with Molly Rainford and Carlos GU.
- After discovering her fate, Kym spoke of wanting to make her father, who has been receiving treatment in hospital following a prostate cancer diagnosis, happy.
- Asked if she had any final words, Kym added: ‘Honestly I’ve loved every single second that I’ve been here.
- I never thought I’d get to this stage in a million years.
‘I have to say, it’s all down to this man (Graziano) here, he is just wonderful and he will be my friend forever. ‘But what a journey it’s been, this show is just wonderful, it shows you things about yourself you don’t know, it shows you how tough you can be.’ Strictly Come Dancing airs next Sunday at 7.15pm on BBC One.
Why was dancer crying on Strictly
The Welsh Strictly pro dancer is undergoing intensive chemo after being diagnosed with cancer for the second time this year following a double mastectomy in June. Previously, Amy opened up on how her further cancer diagnosis had been a blow. She explained: ‘For me my journey everything changed.
Who left Strictly Week 12?

- As always judges Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood marked each of the performances out of 40 as the competition got ever closer to the final.

- Cameron has not yet addressed his exit on his account and still lists himself as ” Strictly Professional”.

Who are the Strictly finalists
The final of Strictly Come Dancing is finally upon us after 13 gruelling weeks. Our final four are Fleur East, Hamza Yassin, Helen Skelton and Molly Rainford – and it was Hamza who lifted the Glitterball Trophy in a nail-biting final!
Who went out of Dancing on Ice 2023?
Week 8 – Siva Kaneswaran and Mollie Gallagher – Siva Kaneswaran and Mollie Gallagher. ITV Siva Kaneswaran and Mollie Gallagher became the latest celebrities to exit Dancing on Ice 2023, being eliminated during the show’s semi-final. Kaneswaran, who is best known as a member of The Wanted, skated to the band’s song Gold Forever in a tribute to his late bandmate Tom Parker, while Mollie performed to Evanescence’s My Immortal – however, both lost in the skate-off to Joey Essex, with the judges unanimously voting to save the former TOWIE star.
Who left Strictly Week 8 last night?
Strictly Come Dancing: week eight results – as it happened Week 8 leaderboard
Fleur East and Vito Coppola: 39 Will Mellor and Nancy Xu: 38 Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal: 38 Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu: 37 Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez : 32 Ellie Taylor and Johannes Radebe: 31 Tyler West and Dianne Buswell: 31 Kym Marsh and Graziano Di Prima: 31 Tony Adams and Katya Jones: 24
Show key events only Please turn on JavaScript to use this feature And that’s Week 8 done and dusted – thanks again to Hollie for standing in yesterday, and to all of you for joining in and being lovely down below, Next week we’re off to the Vegas of the North for the long-awaited return of BLACKPOOL WEEK – so pack your glittery bags and do your sprung floor strengthening exercises for a dance extravaganza.
Ick off is at 7.45pm, so I’ll see you then! Now, who’s driving the bus? Tony and Katya take to the floor for their final dance, to I Got You Babe by Sonny and Cher. Cue giant pile-on! Worth noting that by this point it was 10.55pm and we’d been in the studio for the best part of six hours. SO TIRED. I do get why Tony wouldn’t put himself through the dance-off, though – if he’s hurt, there’s a risk he’d do an (even) worse job second time round, which isn’t how you want to leave the show.
And let’s face it, he was DEFINITELY leaving the show. Bit of an anti-climax, though. Still, please enjoy this fun section where Katya tries to speak and Tony consistently talks over her. Or not, as it turns out. Tony has decided to leave the competition due to injury, so Tyler is through.
- We didn’t get any more information on this last night, but presumably he’ll share the details on It Takes Two tomorrow.
- In case you hadn’t twigged, we’re going back to Blackpool next week.
- Basically it’s like the normal show, but with giant props, mad costumes and superfluous backing dancers.
- So who is joining Tyler and Dianne in the dance-off? Hamza and Jowita are off to Blackpool, along with Will and Nancy, Helen and Gorka and (EEK SO MUCH TENSION) Ellie and Johannes! Which means TONY AND DIANNE in the bottom two.
I have to confess I was surprised – I thought the fandom might take him to Blackpool. A foregone conclusion of a dance-off, surely? Time for a musical interlude, courtesy of Sheku Kanneh-Mason and Zak Abel performing their single Same Boat, in front of a tiny wind farm.
- I loved this performance last night, and got quite caught up in whether I could make Amy’s dress from an old bedsheet.
- Also can we please acknowledge Nikita’s commitment to Backstreet Boys-style 90s hair curtains.
- Soft furnishings all round.
- So who is safely through to next week’s Blackpool Tower Ballroom extravaganza? Molly and Carlos are safe, along with Kym and Graziano and Fleur and Vito.
First couple in the bottom two: TYLER AND DIANNE. It definitely wasn’t his best dance, totally agreed with Craig on the lack of shaping and Spanish line. Quite enjoyed the flaming rhombus though. Last night on Strictly: fabulous dancing, SO much crying.
- Highlights: Fleur’s Samba, Molly’s Rumba, Hamza doing Afrobeat (also JOWITA you absolute queen), Tyler’s sparkly harness and 22 mentions of Blackpool (I hope you were all suitably sloshed).
- Lowlights: Fleur’s Christmas tree dress, tens being dished out like Quality Streets, emotional dehydration.
- Also Tess’s pink dress/black boots combo, which looked just as awful in real life.
Individually: yes. Together: absolutely not, are you MAD? TESS AND CLAUDIA DRESS WATCH: Tess in respectful black (there are flares down below, obviously), and Claudia trying on her Year 5 school uniform. And we’re off! Tonight’s opening pro dance is a moving Remembrance Day tribute to Queen and country, complete with men in tails and gorgeous poppy dresses.
- I Vow To Thee My Country’ is such a beautiful hymn, so many goosebumps.
- Imagine watching this (twice) after the emotional rollercoaster of last night’s live show.
- I was a HUSK.
- Tonight’s Countryfile Casual Weatherperson is the delightful Ben Rich in nicely-fitting red plaid and a tidy beard.
- Roll up those sleeves, Ben.
Forecast is forearmed and all that. Also it’s still September out there, get your wrists out. There’s a Countryfile tea towel! You can wipe your dishes with John Craven’s face. Or if you prefer, there’s the usual calendar. You can pay by cheque. Honestly can’t remember the last time I paid for anything by cheque.
- Why are they cooking on Countryfile? There are loads of cooking shows – I want hedge laying and oinking pigs.
- Did you all play Blackpool bingo last night? Feel free to continue this evening, but only if you’re not working tomorrow because it’s going to be A LOT.
- Also if you’re still pottering around doing Sunday jobs, do NOT miss the beginning of tonight’s show.
It’s the opening pro dance we’ve been waiting for all season Obviously I know the outcome of tonight’s results shenanigans because (SPOILER ALERT) it was recorded last night, but I promise not to tell. Kick off is at 7.20, so please join me then!
Who left Strictly Week 9
Strictly Come Dancing: week nine results – as it happened Show key events only Please turn on JavaScript to use this feature Anyway, it’s farewell to Tyler and Dianne. They take to the floor for their final dance, to ‘Last Dance’ by Donna Summer. WHAT a tune.
- And with that, it’s another Strictly weekend in Blackpool over – thank you all for joining in with my nonsense and being amazing – it’s been a really fun show.
- I’ll be back next week at 7.15pm for another turn around the Strictly dancefloor, this time safely back in Elstree.
- Feel free to come and say hi on Twitter/Instagram @heidistephens if you’re passing, and apologies in advance for the book plugs this week.
Have a great week! Tyler and Dianne say heartfelt things about each other (friends for life etc.) and on this occasion it’s easy to believe that these two have become good mates. But I’d really love to see the data over twenty years. What’s the average lifespan of a Strictly pro/celebrity Whatsapp message thread, before they start leaving each other on read? To what degree does going on the live tour help to plaster over any early cracks or reinforce the friendship? Does, for example, Natasha Kaplinsky still send Brendan Cole a Christmas card? Do Pasha and Kimberley ever meet for lunch? I feel like if I ever do a PhD, this will be my doctoral thesis.
- Clearly a difficult choice for the judges this week – Craig agrees that both danced WAY better second time round.
- Craig and Motsi both save Molly and Carlos, but (PLOT TWIST) Anton saves Tyler and Dianne.
- Which means Shirley has the deciding vote, and decides to saveMolly and Carlos.
- Which means TYLER AND DIANNE are leaving Strictly this week.
It’s a shame – I thought Tyler had huge potential to make the Grand Final this year, but that Salsa choreo did him no favours. Difficult to say goodbye to anyone at this point in the competition, we’ve all emotionally invested in their journeys. But we’ll always have the memory of his Paso harness.
Tyler and Dianne are up next – this Salsa was great fun, but I’d argue the party spirit came from the disco elements, rather than any high quality Salsa. Also if that’s the same afro wig worn by Aston Merrygold in 2017, it’s cursed. Tyler is NOT going out quietly – this Salsa has definitely got more intent in the hip action.
Could this save him? Tyler and Dianne Photograph: Guy Levy/PA Molly and Carlos are up first with their Jive – poor Molly has been in this dance-off so many times, can we just put her out of her misery? It wasn’t my favourite dance of the night, but she had huge talent and you can see the determination to keep going. Absolute respect to her for that. Molly and Carlos Photograph: Guy Levy/PA Tonight’s dance-off is going to be a close one – Molly and Tyler both scored 35 last night. I’d argue Molly is the stronger dancer, but if it all comes down to this one dance it could go either way. Who will it be??? So who is joining Molly and Carlos in the bottom two? Helen and Gorka are safe, along with Will and Nancy and Kym and Graziano.
- Which means TYLER AND DIANNE in the dance off.
- So Kym, Ellie and Will have all won the public vote this week, saving them from the dance-off.
- The next few weeks are going to be VERY interesting.
- Time for a musical interlude, with Eurovision troubadour and knitwear inspiration Sam Ryder back for the third time this weekend, if you count the Terms & Conditions.
He’s singing his latest single ‘All The Way Over’ (this episode of Strictly). Neil and and Jowita and Gio and Katya are dancing. There is a great deal of hair and spinning. Oh, I LOVE Tess’s glittery fish dress – my fave look of the season so far. So who is definitely going back to Elstree next week, and who is heading for the dance-off? Fleur and Vito are safe, along with Hamza and Jowita and Ellie and Johannes (OOOOH, that’s a surprise).
First couple in the bottom two –MOLLY AND CARLOS. Last night on Strictly: BACK IN BLACKPOOL, the AC/DC track we never knew we needed. Highlights (for me, anyway) – the return of big spectacle Strictly, the sheer joy of it all, some brilliant dancing. I grinned from start to finish, and god knows we need a bit of that right now.
Lowlights: Scoring that has become largely meaningless now, but that’s hardly new news. Tess in fabulous green sequins, Claudia in tiger stripes. More on the bottom half later. And we’re off! Time for some pro dancer Blackpool nostalgia, complete with old photos of teens with really orange tans.
- And now grown up Amy and Kai are dancing with little versions of themselves.
- How cute is this? Music is provided by Sam Ryder, singing John Farnham’s 80s inspo banger ‘You’re The Voice’.
- Actually, Sam, this is Strictly.
- The Voice is on the other side.
- Happy to clear up any confusion.
- Tonight’s Countryfile Casual Weatherperson is the lovely Louise Lear, who also did the weather at the end of the news forty minutes ago and has since CHANGED HER TOP for more casual weather-appropriate red sweater.
Very much on the autumn/festive cusp, I approve.

Who left Strictly this Saturday?
Strictly Come Dancing: week 11 results – as it happened Show key events only Please turn on JavaScript to use this feature And that’s Strictly over for another week – get ready for a MASSIVE SEMI next SUNDAY, when our four remaining couples will be dancing TWO DANCES; kick-off is at 7.15pm, so please join me then.
- Thank you for joining in, and enjoy your FREE SATURDAY next weekend – I’m taking the daughter ice skating.
- Have a great week! Friends for life DRINK! In your family forever DRINK! Like Ellie and Johannes last week, this feel like a couple who might actually be mates.
- They’ve been amazing to watch.
- They take to the floor to dance their final dance, to ‘So Long, Farewell’ from The Sound of Music.
CUTE. Craig and Motsi both save Molly and Carlos, but (PLOT TWIST) Anton saves Kym and Graziano. So it’s all down to Shirley, who savesMolly and Carlos. Which means KYM AND GRAZIANO are leaving Strictly. It’s a real shame – Kym was a fabulous dancer, but last night Molly and Carlos were better.
- So hard to lose anyone at this stage, particularly as they’re all so well-matched, dance-wise.
- Molly and Carlos are up first – I loved this Charleston last night, and Molly is bringing the same energy second time round.
- Part of me would love her to be in the Final, after weathering so many dance-offs.
But I also don’t want to hoof out any of the others. Kym and Graziano are up next – I really enjoyed this dance last night, even though the judges weren’t that fussed. Maybe it’s because I spent a large part of the early 80s playing ‘Fame’ and dreaming of a career in the performing arts, before discovering I can’t sing OR dance.
- Nice work Kym – if you’re leaving us tonight, it’s on a high.
- Who’s joining Molly and Carlos in the dance off? Fleur and Vito are safe, along with Hamza and Jowita.
- Which means KYM AND GRAZIANO in the dance off.
- Oof, that’s a tough one.
- But based on last night’s dances, I think Molly definitely has the edge.
Time for a musical interlude, courtesy of a medley from The Cher Show. I didn’t even know there WAS a Cher Musical. When did that happen? How have I missed it? There are three Chers, all wearing really uncomfortable-looking outfits featuring sparkly merkins of varying lengths.
The sound quality is dreadful, like they’re singing at the bottom of a well. Cher may have Found Someone, but it definitely isn’t a sound engineer. I think Tess’s white pantsuit is my fave Tess outfit of the season, and I’m also here for Claudia’s zebra print boots. Good choices all round. Next week Will is doing his Couple’s Choice to a medley of 90s indie classics.
I feel baggy pants and a bucket hat coming on. So which two couples are the first to go through to next week’s semi-final? For the first time this season, I really don’t mind which two dances I have to watch again. They were all fabulous. Helen and Gorka are safe, along with Will and Nancy.
- First couple in the dance-off: MOLLY AND CARLOS.
- Poor Molly.
- She’s spent so much time in that bottom two she’s started leaving a toothbrush by the dance-off sink.
- I feel for her, she did a great job last night.
- Last night on Strictly: my favourite show of the series so far.
- Everyone stepped it up a notch, the music was brilliant and dance appropriate (mostly – not sure it entirely did Hamza any favours), and we were all done and dusted in barely more than an hour.
So basically the stuff of liveblogger dreams. Highlights: Helen’s Couple’s Choice. I know I bitch about the whole concept being fired into the sun, but that dance will go down in the Strictly Hall of Fame, and could take Helen all the way to the glitterball.
Also Will’s dreamy Foxtrot, Molly’s fun Charleston, Kym’s pants, Hamza’s subtle Samba, Fleur showing us what a HUGE musical theatre star she’s going to be Gorka in a corset/guyliner, Johannes as a Pink Lady. Loved every minute. Lowlights: Tess’s banana, Claudia’s pyjamas. Coming down the stairs. TESS AND CLAUDIA DRESS WATCH! Tess dressed as a Greek goddess, Claudia in a black vest.
Absolutely no issue with either. And we’re off! Tonight’s opening pro dance is a number from Guys and Dolls, which I’ve never seen and don’t know the plot of, so I can’t get excited about it. But there are many chairs, so feel free to belatedly drink. The very opposite of the casual weather happening right now.
- Didn’t catch the name, but he’s dressed like a recruitment consultant.
- The football has ruined everything.
- Oh wow, apparently it was Darren Bett.
- Or as I refer to him, Darren Better In Plaid.
- Evening all, and welcome back for this week’s quarter final results! Last night was a FABULOUS Musicals Special, but if we’re ever going to make it to Christmas we need to wave goodbye to another couple.
I don’t make the rules, but if I did I’d take all six through because they’re all brilliant. Don’t forget that next week’s massive semi is on SUNDAY at 7.15pm, when our remaining five couples will be doing TWO DANCES. Usually this means an under-rehearsed hot mess, but because of scheduling shenanigans they’ve got an extra day.
So that’s a bonus. Kick off tonight is at 5.40pm – join me then! Strictly results? On a Saturday afternoon? In this economy? Apparently so. On the upside, we can all go out and party afterwards – I’m planning to go to Bath for a drink or two, because for the first time in over a decade, I CAN. Thank you for being my fabulous chorus line this evening – you are all awesome.
See you tomorrow, and enjoy the rest of your Friday! That’s it for tonight’s dancing – how fabulous was that? It’s time to vote for who you’d like to see in next week’s semi-final. Will and Helen are at the top of the leaderboard, and right now it’s Hamza and Kym in the dance-off danger zone.
I feel like the public will probably save Hamza, so maybe Kym and Molly for the dance-off? Nobody deserves to be there – they were all great tonight. Scores: 9,10,9,10 – a total of 38 for Fleur and Vito. Anton thought it was marvellous, and Craig agrees – it had class, style and sophistication. Motsi thought it was the magic at the end of a great show.
Shirley loved everything about it – Fleur was a star today.

Who went out in Dancing with the Stars
Footballer Stephanie Roche has been given a red card and become the latest celebrity to be eliminated from Dancing With The Stars. The Shamrock Rovers ace fell foul to the public vote and ended up in the dance off against Suzanne Jackson. Earlier in the night, striker Stephanie swapped the glitzy dress for a red and white sparkly tracksuit as she danced the samba with her pro dance partner Ervinas Merfeldas.

Leaving the show, Stephanie thanked Ervinas, saying “he’s been very patient at times”, while Ervinas said she had given it her all. An emotional Stephanie said: “The more you get into it, the more you want to keep on getting better. You want to improve week on week so I feel like we achieved something.” Earlier in the night, Suzanne and Michael scored 25 points before they had to repeat the dance again after ending up in the dance off against Stephanie and Ervinas.
But judges Brian Redmond, Loraine Barry and Arthur Gourounlian chose to save Suzanne and Michael in the end. Brian previously said Stephanie’s samba to Con Calma by Daddy Yankee feat. Snow was a difficult samba and said it was one of her “better latin dances”. Loraine added she felt her “fight continued” from last week and she gave the dance her “blood, sweat and tears”.
“I salute your effort tonight. It was tremendous,” she said. Arthur said he felt she performed best out of heels but he felt she improved on Sunday night in her heels. Shane Byrne and Karen Byrne opened tonight’s show with a sparkling Jive to Land of 1000 Dances by Vinnie Jones.
- The couple scored 20 points.
- Emily Barker added some rope into her choreography with her celebrity partner Carl Mullan.
- They danced a powerful tango to Sucker by the Jonas Brothers, impressing the judges.
- Loraine said her risk of dancing with a prop paid off.
- There was this fiery fierce energy all the way through.
you really worked that lovely prop right in.I’m very impressed with the amount of tango steps you got in. “That was a great tango.” Brooke Scullion with her Dance Partner Robert Rowinski (Image: Kyran O’Brien/kobpix) Arthur said: “It’s official. I’m a sucker for you. Working with prop is very difficult. you showed another side tonight. Very sexy.” Brian added that it wasn’t a bad tango.
- The pair scored 24 points.
- Panti Bliss and Denys Samson – who earned immunity on the show last week – danced an energetic salsa to Stupid Love by Lady Gaga, scoring 22 points from the judges.
- Arthur said Panti was “born to do salsa”, describing it as “loud, camp and bold – just like you”.
- Brian said Panti “disco-fied salsa” but he wasn’t overly impressed with the dance.
Comedian Kevin McGahern and Laura Nolan danced the quick step to Iggy Pop’s Lust For Life, scoring 26 points. Brian described it as “Kevin’s killing quickstep”, while Loraine praised the dance saying they “gave it socks”. Glee star Damien McGinty and Kylee Vincent scored two tens for their Charleston to No Swinggity by Minimatic Loraine praised the dance, saying her highlight was the lofts in their dance, saying they took her breath away, while Brian said while his dancing was “goofy” it was perfect for the Charleston.
- The pair scored a massive 29 points, securing their place at the top of the leaderboard.
- Former Eurovision singer Brooke Scullion and her pro dance partner Robert Rowinski were praised for their lively jive to Lizzo’s ‘Am I Ready?’.
- Arthur praised the dance, saying it was “on point”, while Brian was impressed with their kick actions, joking they “nearly took my eyebrows off”.
And Loraine described their dance as “excellent.” Brooke and Robert closed the show, earning 27 points. READ NEXT:

Has Ellie been voted off Strictly?
Ellie Taylor has been eliminated from this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, becoming the ninth celebrity to leave the competition as we head towards the quarter-finals. Regular viewers of the show had been concerned about Ellie’s future after her Thelma & Louise-inspired jive was blasted by judge Craig Revel Horwood, who gave her just 5 points and branded it “lacklustre”.
- The judges’ scores put her in last place on the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard, while the public vote landing her in the dance-off against singer-songwriter Fleur East,
- After both contestants performed their routines once more, the judges decided unanimously to save Fleur, with all four citing her superior technique as the reason why they wanted her back next week.
Reflecting on her Strictly journey, Ellie said: “I’m going to be a cliché machine now, but it’s been everything and more. I never in a million years expected to be in for this long and to experience it so fully. By entering your details, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions and privacy policy,

“You are as wonderful as everyone said you would be,” she told him. “And I’ve said you’re like human sunshine and you really really are. You see people and you saw me, at every point. Ellie Taylor and Johannes Radebe on Strictly Come Dancing week 10 BBC “I have been so worried and so out of my comfort zone and so self-conscious and so weird and you have said ’embrace your weird, Ellie’. You’ve done it so full-heartedly and without judgement.
- It’s been an absolute privilege to dance with you JoJo, I don’t know what runs through your body but it’s not blood; it’s rhythm and it’s music, and to watch you perform is incredible.” Johannes responded: “Oh my goodness! It’s been a pleasure, treasure – that’s our thing.
- Ellie Taylor, moving forward, embrace your weird! Embrace your long limbs, because you are one gorgeous person.
So thank you for everything – you know my heart, thank you.” Ellie’s departure leaves just six couples left in the competition, who will be whittled down to a final five in the quarter final – aka Musicals Week – which will air one day earlier than usual due to the World Cup.
Has Kym Marsh left Strictly Come Dancing?
Strictly: Kym Marsh says she isn’t feeling the pressure – Strictly Come Dancing star Kym Marsh was eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing after the iconic Musicals Week last Saturday. The reason behind her and professional partner Graziano Prima being bottom of the leaderboard was apparently due to nerves, according to a body language expert.
Darren Stanton has revealed what the Coronation Street actor was going through based on her mannerisms in week 11 of the battle for the Glitterball Trophy. Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Darren said: “When it was announced that Kym was the latest contestant to leave the show, she appeared absolutely devastated and showed expressions of feeling gutted and also very sad.” He continued: “This week’s Strictly Come Dancing was fraught with nerves and tension as we approached the semi-final.
“Kym was particularly nervous this week and flashed a number of fear expressions as she performed. “She also displayed a couple of fake smiles – not fake in a negative sense, but she was certainly masking her emotions.”
